    Hi,

I need help installing the Roofing Services Pro Theme please. I downloaded the files I received upon ordering the pro version of the theme. These files are titled ‘roofing-services.xlm.zip’ and ‘roofing-services-pro.zip’. I unzipped the ‘roofing-services-pro.zip’ file, then in my WordPress Admin dashboard, went to Appearance –> Themes –> add new them. I uploaded the unzipped roofing-services-pro file. Once uploaded, I activated it. However, I am stuck here. When I go to Pages–> add new page, I don’t see any of the page templates for the Roofing Services Pro Theme. The original theme ‘Genesis’ is still there instead and when I click on ‘Layouts’, I only see Genesis page templates as an option. Please help. What did I miss? What am I supposed to do with the ‘roofing-services-xml.zip’ file? Thank you.

    Hello Laurapatten,
If you’re uploading the theme via the WordPress admin panel, please remember to upload the theme .zip file directly. There’s no need to unzip it beforehand. Follow the simple steps below to successfully upload the theme:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
    2. Navigate to ‘Appearance’ and then click on ‘Themes.’
    3. Click on the ‘Add New’ button at the top.
    4. Select the ‘Upload Theme’ option.
    5. Choose the theme .zip file from your computer.
    6. Click ‘Install Now’ and wait for the upload to complete.
    7. Once uploaded, activate the theme to make it live on your site.

To import the demo data, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your Dashboard.
    2. Navigate to “Tools” and click on it.
    3. Choose “Import” from the options available.
    4. Select “WordPress” from the list.
    5. Click on “Install now” to install the WordPress importer.
    6. After installation, click on “Run Importer.”
    7. Choose the demo XML file by clicking on “Choose file.”
    8. From the dropdown, select “Import author.”
    9. Ensure the option “Download and import file attachments” is checked.
    10. Finally, click on “Upload file and import” to start the import process.
    Thank you.
